We hope everyone has had an amazing start to the year, we have as we are currently visiting Roatan in Honduras to catch up with family and friends while also working on our Batana Oil business and projects here.

Being back in Roatan where our Batana Oil business began, has allowed us to reflect on what we have achieved, our initial goals and our goals for the future. From day one with Wild Roatan we wanted to develop a business that did more than just sell locally made natural products like Batana Oil from Roatan, we wanted to also be actively involved in the community by assisting with community development and environmental programs.

Over the past few years we have worked closely with Support Roatan an organisation in Roatan that donates fruit trees to local communities and schools to assist with food security, climate change, community development and the local environment. Fruit trees like breadfruit, mango, avocado and soursop are very popular locally but it has become very hard to find the trees in local nurseries, this is where Support Roatan has made a lot of progress, not only do they donate fruit trees, they also support a local nursery that specialises in hard to find fruit trees.

We are excited to continue to expand our programs with Support Roatan and for the month of February spend over $100 on Batana Oil with Wild Roatan and we will donate a fruit tree to be planted in Honduras.
